Welcome! Here´s a little briefing about our project and this netsite. We are students from the Upper Secondary school of Liminka and we started a cultural exhance-project in the winter of 2001 with students from Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. This is the second time that our school has a cultural exhance with students from Castellammare, the first time was in 1999. In the year 1998, our school had same kind of project with school from Liechtenstein. This project is supported by Finland's Ministery of Education and is a part of Netd@ys-project also. The Italians came here to Liminka for 2 weeks in the fall of 2001. Within those 2 weeks we all learned a lot about differences between our cultures and made many new friends and I think it was the whole idea of this student exhance. They lived at our houses so we got to know each other quite well. But the bad thing about living in a same house was that we didn´t have much time to study. On normal schoolweek it wouldn´t have been a problem but we had a test week on the other week that they were here so the tests didn´t really go that well, but we can sacrifice a few test to have good time with friends from other country, right? All in all, being a part of this project was fantastic and we would like to recommend it to everybody.
