founded on the 22nd of April 1996. The only worker is the owner himself, Olavi Ojanperä.
The building service company is situated in ALA- TEMMES (Adress: Jyväskyläntie 98). In
his company the owner makes plans for different buildings that have something to do with
agriculture (garages, cottages,...). He is a supervisor besides drawing plans, too, so he sees to that if the houses are built correctly. He has no international contacts because the kinds of buildings he makes the plans for are popular only in this region in Finland. He is able to be active only in a small area because the buildings have to fit well in the scenery. Because of that he can make plans for houses that are going to be built in the region he knows very well. That´s why he doesn´t need any commercials. |
 Olavi at work The information that Olavi is making plans goes from door to door. The clients just go there and order what they want. He doesn´t get money from the governmnent for this activity. Almost only farmers get money from it. His work is also influenced by the project called "Agenda 2000". This is a project made by the EU including his branch so he has to keep the rules made by the project, too. Because of this he hasn’t had a lot of work lately. The project controls the agriculture on a general basis so it looks after buildings that have to do with it, too Nevertheless, he hasn´t a bad attitude towards his job. On the contrary. He says that he really likes his job. Of course he also mentions negative points. |
One of them is
that you always have to save money because you never know when you will have some work
again. He says that he needs his loneliness to work efficiently, but the drawback is that
he doesn´t see other people except his clients and his family, but nevertheless, he likes
his job and he will go on doing it as long as possible The owner himself is a fully educated builder specialised in the buildings used in agriculture. The rest of the things he masters he has learned by himself. He himself is also active in agriculture so he knows a lot of important facts about this branch from his own experiences. It has to be mentioned that Olavi is gifted in maths. It seems to be very important for this kind of work. . . |
